FM-PA Fall Symposium
- Location: West Chester, PA
The Pennsylvania Chapter of the The Friends of Mineralogy (FM) is an organization devoted to the advancement of serious interest in minerals and related activities. It includes mineral collectors, professional mineralogists and curators of public and private collections. The bond uniting these people is a love of mineral specimens and a desire to spread appreciation and knowledge of minerals.
Our principal meeting is our annual Fall Symposium, currently held on the second weekend in November. It provides the opportunity to hear knowledgeable speakers, meet with fellow enthusiasts, and participate in a field trip.
During the year we have collecting field trips to various sites in Pennsylvania and nearby. Our quarterly newsletter and this web site keep members informed. Chapter members are eligible for national FM activities such as machine digs.
